By Valerie Martin
I ride a motorcycle and wanted something that is thin to wear under my jacket while riding. I went from a heavy fleece to this thin Omni-heat baselayer and ,wow, was I was surprised it kept me warmer than the fleece. My body get's cold easily and I am so impressed with the Omni-heat I have purchased a Jacket and 2 more baselayers. This is not a gimmick it really keeps your body warmer. You do need to make sure to wear it under a shirt or jacket if you go outside the fabric itself is very breathable so in a breeze you would get cold.
I wish the price was lower I'd have a closet full of these.

By M. Petterson
I received this shirt last week, and used it for the first time this morning. It was 17 degrees out. I had this under a long sleeve cotton shirt (might have been defeating the purpose of wicking material, but I was still warm, and it still worked), and then a light waterproof running zip up coat. This material really works. When I was done, this base shirt was dry as a bone, but my cotton shirt and outer layer shell coat were pretty damp!
The shirt is super tight and very unflattering on me. I would never be seen with this shirt on without something over it. That is not important, as this is billed as a base layer. The price on Amazon was better than at other places, too.

By D. Craven
This is some really nice long underwear (Base Layer). It even looks decent if you are using it as your main layer.
I too am using it for early season motorcycle riding and on chilly night rides. I am able to manage highway speeds down to about 30 degrees with just this layer, a long sleeved cotton t-shirt, and my leather jacket with no problems.
The Omni-Heat is a shiny material like you see in those survival blankets. It is actually woven into the inside of the shirt. It really does radiate your body heat back at you right up until you are warm. It then seems to let any extra heat and moisture escape. It is very soft and does not chaff like you might expect.
The material is soft inside and out, and does not stick or bind to the other layers so you could easily wear more than me if needed. The sleeves are extra long and handy if you need more coverage for your hand and wrists. They will also slide up without bunching much if it gets really hot outside.
Sizing was accurate and it fits snugly. It is amazingly thin material. I would say about half as thick as the old white long underwear I used to own.
This definitely is not your typical long underwear. Overall highly recommended. I would give it 5 stars but nothing is perfect. If the price was about 35% lower, it would have received 5 stars from me for sure.
